Chelsea are close to signing Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell from the Foxes.
The Blues have been in search of a new left-back for some time and now appear to have found their man.
The latest report comes from The Athletic, who state that an agreement is in place and the deal is almost completed, with the defender having now undergone a medical.
Chelsea would secure a £50 million deal for the player if the transfer is completed and goes through.
The Blues had been looking at potential other targets but have since decided that the 23-year-old is the man they want above all others.
The one remaining sticking point is the medical as Chelsea look to get the results on the impact of a heel injury the England international suffered near the end of this past season.
Chilwell was sidelined for Leicester's final three games of the season and Chelsea are now eagerly awaiting the medical results, per reports.
Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers had previously spoken in regards to how 'relaxed' he was about Chilwell's future.
"There’s no need to comment on it. He’s come back, he looks fantastic,’ the Foxes manager said.
"He’s come back refreshed and in everything he’s done he’s looked exceptional. We’re relaxed on it. It’s a sequence the club is used to now, and when you have a talented group of players they’re going to make the headlines. But I’m pretty relaxed on it."
