Marina Granovskaia can hijack Mauricio Pochettino's £109m Man United January transfer mission

Thomas Tuchel has already been handed a major transfer boost over Mauricio Pochettino ahead of the January transfer window.

The former Tottenham boss is close to swapping Les Parc dec Princes for Old Trafford as Paris Saint-Germain brace themselves for an official approach from Manchester United, according to TalkSPORT.

TalkSPORT claim that Pochettino is ready to take the helm at Chelsea's Premier League title rivals 'immediately' following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Now, our sister title Manchester Evening News has reported that the Red Devils are 'confident' of appointing the Argentine manager, who is said to be willing to leave PSG mid-season given his willingness to make the switch across the channel.

With the winter transfer window emerging on the horizon, January offers a great opportunity for Pochettino to spend some of United's pocket money and accelerate his new side's catch-up mission with Tuchel's Blues.

However, while the PSG boss may have a few names on his Christmas wish list ready for Ed Woodward, Chelsea have now been officially armed with the most powerful transfer chief in Europe.

Roman Abramovich appointed the Russian-Canadian business executive as Chelsea director in 2013, managing player transactions and contracts which fuelled the club to Champions League glory for the second time in the club's history.

The Blues can be confident heading into the January transfer window knowing Granovskaia is pulling the strings, so, Chelsea could poach a few of Pochettino's likely targets as a welcoming gift.

The name on the tip of every fans' tongue in world football is Jude Bellingham, who was subject to strong interest from both United and Chelsea before penning a deal with Borussia Dortmund following his move from Birmingham, according to reports.

Both the Blues and Red Devils failed in their efforts to win the England international's signature, but with Pochettino potentially at Old Trafford's helm, United could reignite their interest.

While no fresh links have emerged, Bellingham would likely be a signing that Pochettino is interested in so Chelsea must be prepared to reignite a pursuit of their own with their new secret weapon at hand - Granovskaia's officially acknowledged crown.

If any clubs do fancy locking horns, Borussia Dortmund have set an eye-watering €130 million (£109m) price tag for the 18-year-old's services should any potential suitors step forward, according to reports by Spanish outlet Fichajes.
