ATLANTA _ A Marietta police officer was kidnapped and dragged one mile during a violent traffic stop Thursday morning, according to Channel 2 Action News.
Another officer was pushed into traffic, police said.
The officers were not injured in the incident, authorities said.
According to police, one officer was attempting to detain a driver when he was pulled into the suspect's vehicle. The vehicle took off and traveled for a mile before stopping, officials said.
Three people were arrested and multiple handguns were recovered.
Georgia State Patrol troopers and Cobb County police officers assisted in the investigation.
