Marie Osmond to replace Sara Gilbert as host of 'The Talk': report

Look who's talking. Again.

Marie Osmond is reportedly in talks to take over Sara Gilbert's seat on the CBS daytime chatfest "The Talk."

In April, the "Roseanne" actress, creator and executive producer announced she was leaving the show after nine years because her "life was slightly out of balance" between her family and other career opportunities.

Sources connected to the Emmy Award-winning show told TMZ that "Osmond has signed on for the gig and the big announcement will go down live on 'The Talk' next Tuesday."

The 59-year-old entertainment veteran has guest-hosted on the show several times in the past and reportedly has been a ratings draw.

She and her brother, Donny Osmond, still have a residency at the Flamingo hotel in Las Vegas, which is expected to end in November. She reportedly plans to fly back and forth from Los Angeles to Vegas in order to do both.

The talk format is not new terrain for the former teen idol, whose television career dates back to the mid-1970s. Dick Clark produced the talk show, "Donny & Marie," which aired in syndication for two seasons in the late 1990s.

Over the past few years, "The Talk" has experienced shuffling.

Earlier this year, co-host Julie Chen bid farewell shortly after her husband, former CBS chairman Les Moonves, was ousted for multiple sexual misconduct allegations.

Comedic actress Aisha Tyler, who joined the show in 2011, exited from her co-hosting duties in 2017.

Reps for CBS did respond to Daily News' request for comment.
