Marian Shved set for Celtic exit as forgotten winger's dad promises 'next club' revelation

Forgotten Celtic winger Marian Shved 's next move will be revealed shortly, according to his dad.

Shved is set to leave either permanently or on-loan in the near future having fallen into obscurity at Parkhead.

Hungarian champions Fenercvaros have been touted as a potential destination for the 22-year-old, as has a return to his homeland.

And his father, Vasily Shved, has revealed his son's future is set to be sorted in the coming days.

He said: "I think there will be clarity about Marian's next club very soon. It's in the hands of his agent now.

"The Scottish league was ended prematurely and Marian returned home due to the coronavirus and he kept himself in very good shape here.

"He's 22 years old, plays for a top European team and is in the Ukraine squad, so he is fine.

"He still has a great future ahead of him."

Shved made just three appearances for Celtic since his £2million move last year, as one of Brendan Rodgers ' last signings.

A five minute appearance against Clyde in the Scottish Cup earlier this year was his first sighting in the Hoops since October and he looks set to be moved on soon.
