Mariah Carey has claimed her relationship with her billionaire ex-fiancé James Packer “didn’t matter” to her and she never had sex with him.
The 50-year-old singing diva dropped the bombshell while discussing why he doesn't make an appearance in her explosive new memoir, The Meaning Of Mariah Carey.
The musical icon was speaking with The Guardian when she revealed why the relationship wasn’t included.
"If it was a relationship that mattered, it’s in the book. If not, it didn’t occur,” she explained to the publication.
"We didn’t have a physical relationship, to be honest with you,” she went on to admit.
Mariah started dating billionaire James in 2015 and were engaged nine months later.
But just nine months after he put a ring on it, the two parted ways.
As the Grammy winner opts to leave the relationship out of her autobiography, James previously spilled the beans on it in his 2018 memoir The Price Of Fortune: The Untold Story Of Being James Packer.
He opened up about how his relationship with the superstar had “become toxic” by the time they split.
"Wherever we went we were on the top table and that was because of her, not me,” he wrote.
“She was kind and she took an interest in my life."
Despite Mariah erasing James from memory in her new book, she does delve into the juicy details of her many other former relationships.
She writes about her time dating baseball player Derek Jeter, revealing he was only the “second person [she] had ever slept with”.
Mariah also discusses her marriage to music executive Tommy Mottola from 1993 to 1998 and how the demise of their relationship led to a feud between her and fellow star Jennifer Lopez.
She also discusses her relationship with actor Nick Cannon. The pair were married from 2008 until 2016, and share two children, twins Moroccan and Monroe, 9.
