Mariah Carey celebrates getting second Covid jab and hits back at 'fakery' claims

Mariah Carey was ecstatic as she received her second coronavirus vaccine on Tuesday.

The songstress, 51, had her first jab in April and has already returned for her second.

She took to her Instagram to film the process for her fans, and rubbished 'fakery' claims at the same time.

"I'm a little nervous, again," she declared. "But it's gonna be what it is."

Mariah patiently sat in a doctor's chair and waited for her second dose, looking as glamorous as ever with her huge sunglasses on.

She titled the clip: "Vaccine..PART 2!" and jokingly made reference to those who claimed her first vaccine was fake - with some people claiming that the needle 'didn't go in'.

In the video, she responded to the claims, admitting that she wouldn't film in bad lighting for 'no reason'.

"By the way, people were like, 'It's a fake needle'. Would I ever go into this lighting for no reason? No."

The Touch My Body singer didn't wince once as the needle went into her arm, and it was over in a matter of seconds.

Her followers left sweet comments about how she is the "vaccination queen" after getting her second round.

Mariah had her first vaccine last month and she filmed that for her Instagram.

She belted out an incredible tune to distract herself from the pain.

As the needle went in, Mariah let out a squeal and then hit a high note near her trademark vocal whistle.

The star then applauded and felt very proud of herself for going through with it.
