We’re all very grateful to the BBC for covering every inch of Glastonbury Festival each year, but everyone knows the best celebrity stories that come out of Glasto aren’t happening anywhere near the stage.
Last year’s celebrity highlights included Louis Tomlinson wheeling a TV into camp to watch the footie and Dua Lipa being accosted by a ukulele-playing “busker”, only for her uncomfortable expression to go wildly viral.
As far as festivals go, Glastonbury is as star-studded as it gets. It’s your favourite artist’s favourite festival, with many celebrities taking advantage of its size to slip through the cracks and enjoy a “real” festival experience. Last year, Dua Lipa famously requested that she play the Friday headline slot so she could party throughout the rest of the weekend.
So, who can you expect to spot at Glastonbury 2025?

First, there are the obvious ones: the performers. Expect to see Charli xcx stomping around the farm hand in hand with fiancé George Daniel, given that she is performing on the Other Stage on Saturday, while Daniel’s band The 1975 will be headlining the Pyramid Stage this Friday.
Another familiar face on the farm will be Loyle Carner, who has described his performances at Glastonbury as a “dream come true”. The Lambeth-born rapper is performing in Bristol on Wednesday ahead of his headline set on the Other Stage on Friday, which lends itself well to spending Thursday at the festival.

Then, there are the many actors scheduled to give talks at Glastonbury 2025, who will likely stick around afterwards to enjoy the festivities. This was the case for Florence Pugh last year, who was spotted out and about at the festival rocking various strange items of headwear (flower crown, top hat, etc).
The celebrities set to give talks this year are Margot Robbie, Paul Mescal, Andrew Garfield, Tilda Swinton, Ncuti Gatwa, Jodie Comer and Taron Egerton, as well as director Edgar Wright and Succession creator Jesse Armstrong.
Paul Mescal also attended Glastonbury 2024, but his attendance in 2025 looks like it’ll be a little more romantic: the actor’s rumoured girlfriend, Gracie Abrams, is performing on the Other Stage this Friday. If you want to find Paul, at least you know which crowd he’ll be in.

Meanwhile, Margot Robbie is likely to be accompanied by close friend and Glasto loyalist Cara Delevingne, who is routinely papped during her annual trips to the farm. The pair previously attended the festival together back in 2017, shortly after the release of their film Suicide Squad.
Along with Delevingne, there are other fail-safe Glastonbury attendees who you can reasonably expect to be in attendance, such as Sienna Miller, Alexa Chung and Nick Grimshaw.

However, the jury is out on whether two major Glastonbury icons, Lily Allen and Kate Moss, will be trekking to Somerset this year. Lily Allen is back on the party scene, having recently shared that she stayed up partying until 4am at Dua Lipa’s Wembley after party, and as is Moss. Moreover, Moss recently released a festival-themed clothes collection with Zara, which could be easily promoted by... attending Glastonbury.
Here’s hoping for a return of the queen.
