Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling send fans wild as they attend red carpet as Barbie and Ken

Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling channelled their inner Barbie and Ken as they got all dolled up for their latest red carpet appearance.

The pair stepped out in support of their upcoming Barbie Movie at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Tuesday and decided to dress completely in character for the event.

Margot, who plays the titular role, looked amazing as she posed for pictures wearing a pink gingham crop top and matching miniskirt.

The outfit, which was designed by fashion house Prada, showed off her toned figure and was paired with some pink Christian Louboutin heels.

The 32-year-old actress accessorised her look with a silver anklet and opted for a natural makeup-look, complete with a light pink lipstick.

Margot styled her long blonde hair in a sleek side part and let it flow over her shoulders.

Ryan, who plays her love interest Ken, showed his support for the film's director Greta Gerwig by wearing a white T-shirt with her name printed in classic Barbie font.

He paired this with an oversized hot pink jacket and smart black trousers.

While his wavy hair was no longer platinum blonde like his character, Ryan did still have some blonde highlights.

Following the red carpet, fans flocked to Twitter to share their delight at Margot and Ryan's outfits.

"Margot Barbie Mother Robbie," one fan joked.

Another said: "Loving this full prada look on margot robbie the perfect outfit to kickstart barbie press tour fashion," while a third fan replied with a picture of Ryan and wrote: "Don’t forget him slaying as well."

"Talking about perfect casting #barbie," someone else tweeted.

While on stage at CinemaCon, Margot said playing the iconic doll is a "huge and exciting opportunity" and acknowledged it was a "rare one".

Ryan admitted he originally doubted himself and wondered whether he had the right "energy" to take on the role of Ken.

"I was living my life and then one day, I was bleaching my hair and shaving my legs and wearing bespoke neon outfits and rollerblading down Venice Beach.

"Why is there fake tanner on my sheets? Why am I wearing jackets without shirts? What just happened?" he joked.
