As much as we love a gloriously sugary doughnut, and can't get enough of takeaway pizza, we can't tell how we feel about mixing them together.
But apparently we're wrong, with Brits apparently choosing a vegan margherita pizza as the top takeaway-flavoured doughnut they would want to try, when quizzed by kings of takeaway Just Eat.
The online food delivery service then turned that dream into a reality, creating the world's first margherita pizza doughnut.
The typical round doughnut shape has been replaced with a slightly flatter, savoury version, filled with sweet and gooey tomato sauce and topped with tasty vegan mozzarella and fresh basil.
Brave foodies that want to get their hands on the innovative creation can do so for free, as the one-of-a-kind doughnuts are being handed out today and tomorrow in London, at Just Eat 's annual food fest.
Made in collaboration with Just Eat restaurant partner, Dum Dums Donutterie, the margherota doughnuts will be available at this year’s Just Eat Food Fest: Taste Adventure, from 25th - 26th July in Shoreditch’s 93 Feet East, on Friday between 6pm - 7pm, and Saturday between 2pm - 3pm, in what Just Eat are calling “Doughnut Hour”.
As well as the unique margherita pizza flavour doughnut, Just Eat's food fest will also host two days of live music, cocktails and different pop up kitchens cooking up Just Eat's favourite takeaway dishes, but with an immersive twist.
