
Margaret Atwood is marking the publication of her sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale with a midnight launch in London, as well as a live broadcast interview at the National Theatre.
The interview will be live-streamed to 1,000 cinemas worldwide, with more than 30 London venues set to take part in the screening.
Broadcaster Samira Ahmed is set to interview Atwood on the National Theatre's Lyttleton stage, and they will be joined by several guests who are yet to be announced.
To mark the publication of the new book, The Testaments, Waterstones Piccadilly is set to host a midnight launch on September 9. This will be followed by a UK and Ireland tour, which will include six cities between October 26 and November 2.

Margaret Atwood’s interview will be live-streamed to cinemas across the world on Tuesday September 10, with a 7.30pm start. A select few cinemas outside of London will also be showing it on Wednesday September 18 and Sunday September 22.
