The Celtics and Sixers continued their heated rivalry Wednesday night in Philadelphia and things, well, got heated.
The two teams have traded words both on the court and off since last year’s playoff series, which the Celtics won in five games.
Things then got physical tonight as Marcus Smart didn’t like getting knocked down by Joel Embiid on pick and took matters into his own hands, quite literally, as he got up and shoved Embiid from behind, sending the Sixers center flying to the floor.
Embiid quickly got up and looked to retaliate but he was able to get held back by teammates.

Smart was tossed from the game while Embiid got a technical foul.
Another playoff series between these two teams would be a lot of fun this year.
