Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart is holding his fifth annual basketball summer camp at Brandeis University this week – and he’s not going easy on young campers in one-on-one games.
In a clip that went viral on Wednesday, Smart swats away a shot attempt from a young player, and then breaks his ankles on a drive to the rim, much to the delight of the rest of the camp. But did Smart push off of his defender to get to the bucket? You be the judge:
From a different angle, it certainly looks like Smart flicks the backtracking camper’s shoulder with his left hand, causing him to lose his balance and drop to the floor.
Smart advised the camper, Austin, to bring sneakers instead of skates for Day 2.
