Marcus Rashford was dropped from the starting line up for Manchester United's win over Wolves because he overslept and missed a team meeting.
The 25-year-old was demoted to a place on the bench for United's trip to Molineux on Saturday lunchtime after missing a team meeting earlier in the week.
Erik ten Hag confirmed ahead of the game that Rashford had lost his place in the attack because of an 'internal disciplinary' issue involving the forward.

Teenage forward Alejandro Garnacho started in his place, but the England international came to United's rescue when he was brought on at half-time and went on to score the only goal of the game.
Speaking after the game, Rashford explained why he was dropped from the start and admitted that he accepted Ten Hag's reasoning for doing so.
"Yeah, obviously, it is the team rules and I think it is a mistake that can happen," he told BT Sport. "I am obviously disappointed not to play, but I understand the decision. I am happy that we have managed to win the game anyway. I think we can draw a line under it and move on."
When pushed on the reason behind his absence, Rashford added: "I was a little bit late for a meeting. I slept in, overslept. It can happen."
