Marcus Rashford believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's positivity is beginning to rub off on Manchester United as they look to make it 18 games unbeaten against Southampton.
Victory over the Saints at Old Trafford will move United to third in the Premier League table, with their blistering run of form reeling in Leicester City and Chelsea.
The goals have been flowing recently, with United hitting 14 in their last four games and 46 in those 17 unbeaten fixtures, and Rashford puts that down to the positive messages from Solskjaer.
"Ole's a positive person, he put that into the way he's coaching us and managing us, we go out onto the pitch wanting to score as many goals as we can and not concede as well, we all work hard pressing the ball and with recovery runs to make sure we don't concede goals," he told Sky Sports.
"The secret behind [the run of form] was focusing on ourselves and trying to better the performances, the results came and we've continued to do that and we know the next three or four games are huge for the future."
United have a top-four finish and Champions League qualification in their own hands now and they know wins in all of their four remaining Premier League matches will secure third.
Rashford is aware just how important a return to the Champions League is, with United having to settle for a campaign in the Europa League this season.
"It's of massive importance, the staff and players deserve it and it's important we finish the season off right now," he said.
