Marcus Rashford has given his reaction to Leeds United's brilliant food donation.
The Whites squad have pledged a massive donation to help the Manchester United attacker end child food poverty.
Captain Liam Cooper announced the news on social media, pledging £25,000 from the Whites squad to Leeds City Council who are running the Healthy Holidays Programme over the school holidays.
The campaign, run by Leeds Community Foundation in partnership with the council, provides children and families with access to meals and activities during the holidays.
Leeds players' donation prompted a response from Rashford, who replied with a love heart on social media.
Since April, the programme has provided just under 130,000 portions of food to children and their families, alongside online and face-to-face activities.
Cooper announced the donation on social media, declaring that no child should ever go hungry.
He said: "Let's do this Leeds!
"No children should ever go hungry. £25k guaranteed from the Leeds United squad.
"We stand with you Marcus Rashford."
Cooper released a further statement, arguing that, as footballers, the Whites squad are in a fortunate position to be able to help.
He said: "Me and the players are really fortunate and we are in a position to help.
"Therefore we are delighted to support the campaign from Leeds City Council inspired by Marcus. No kids should go to bed hungry."
The donation comes after thousands of Leeds fans opted against paying to watch Friday's victory over Aston Villa on pay-per-view and instead donated their fee to Leeds United Fans Food Bank.
Their campaign has so far smashed its original target of £50,000.
