Marcus Rashford names his two favourite players in dream Manchester United six-a-side team

Marcus Rashford has named childhood heroes Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo in his dream Manchester United six-a-side team.

Taking part in an online Q&A session Rashford was asked to name a dream team consisting of United players he watched when growing up as a child.

Rashford showed a favouritism to the player's he has shared a pitch with during his own career, picking David de Gea ahead of Edwin van der Sar in goal.

Rio Ferdinand was named as the solitary defensive option with fellow United greats Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs also named in the talented team.

The England international gave a special shout out to Rooney and Ronaldo in attack, with the duo two of his favourite ever players growing up.

"Right, I'm going to go with most players from the teams that I watched when I was growing up," he said during an Instragram Q&A.

"When I was a kid Van der Sar was one of the best keepers and obviously playing with David has been great, so I'd have to put David in there.

"At the back I'd have Rio Ferdinand.

"I'm all-out attack there. I'd have [Paul] Scholesy in front of Rio, [Ryan] Giggs on the right, Ronaldo on the left and Rooney up front.

"I'm not putting myself in. Not yet."

"Him [Rooney] and Ronaldo were my two favourite players growing up, so to get an opportunity to play with him was an unbelievable experience."
