Manchester United and England striker Marcus Rashford has hinted at his disapproval of the plans for a new European Super League.
The Red Devils are one of six English clubs to have signed up to the new format, which includes a closed shop mid-week league and has been roundly condemned by the Premier League, UEFA, supporters and government.
Rashford shared an image on Twitter of one of the banners which covers the stands at Old Trafford.
The banner carries a quote from the club's legendary former manager Sir Matt Busby, which reads: "Football is nothing without fans".
Manchester United co-chairman, Joel Glazer, is one of the key power-brokers in the new Super League, with the press release from Sunday night - which was published on the websites of all six English clubs - carrying quotes from the usually publicity- and scrutiny-shy 50-year-old.

Rashford's teammate, Bruno Fernandes, has also hinted at his displeasure by commenting on a post from Wolves forward Daniel Podence which criticised the plans.
Fernandes wrote in reply: "Dreams can't be bought".
Former United midfielder Ander Herrera has also opposed the Super League proposals.
