Marcus Rashford hits back at Supercomputer's prediction of Manchester United's 2019/20 season

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has hit back at BT Sport's research project ‘The Script of the Season’ - by setting it on fire!

Ahead of the start of the Premier League season next Friday, the broadcaster collected stats from Google, Opta and Squawka before tasking them with producing a full script of what was waiting for United this season.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first full campaign in charge at Old Trafford is predicted to end in disappointment with United missing out on the top four by just one point, finishing behind fifth-placed Arsenal on goal difference.

The Reds are also predicted to lose the joint-most amount of top-flight games in the club’s history - a total of 12 defeats - while conceding more than 50 goals for a second consecutive season.

Paul Pogba is being tipped to do his bit though, finishing as United’s goal and assist leader, but Rashford clearly isn't impressed with BT's prediction and has posted a video of himself on Twitter burning a copy of United's ‘The Script’.

Captioning the tweet with: "Burn data, burn @btsportfootball #Unscripted," the Reds Academy will clearly be out to prove the broadcaster wrong.
