Marcus Rashford gave an honest assessment of Manchester United's derby day defeat to Manchester City and told his teammates to forget about Champions League.
The forward was one of United's brightest players in the 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford and came out after the game to apologise for the display.
"It was clear the difference between the two teams. We didn’t play like Manchester United. It’s not felt like Manchester United, we’ve not played like Manchester United – that’s not right," the forward told Sky Sports.
"Bare minimum should be to give your all and work hard for the badge and the fans and just for the club. It’s important to do it for yourself it's been a tough road to get to where we are.
"We were never expected to be in this position but we got there and To be not putting in the same performances we were doing at the start of January is disappointing for the players."
With Arsenal losing against Wolves on the same night and United playing Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday top four is still attainable for United with three games to play but Rashford insists the priority is to start playing properly.
"We've shown that we can do it, we've shown ourselves and the manager and the fans, they know we can do it," Rashford added. "And that's the most disappointing thing because we are not doing that and we have to get to the bottom of it and start performing like Manchester United.
"It's not about the top four, forget about Champions League next season we have to play like Manchester United for ourselves."

The England international was asked if the players had started pointing the finger of blame at one another after another disappointing defeat.
"We never call each other out but we understand we have to be real with each other," he said. "It's never a case of calling someone out to single them out never ever will any of us do that in the team it's about trying to improve each other and that's important within the team if we want to improve and we have a lot of young players."
