Marcus Rashford explains how Bruno Fernandes is improving his Manchester United teammates

Bruno Fernandes' excellent work rate is rubbing off on the rest of the Manchester United squad and making them a better team, according to Marcus Rashford.

Fernandes finally joined United towards the end of the January transfer window in an initial £47million deal from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon.

The creative-midfielder has made an instant impact at Old Trafford, with his skill, tenacity and leadership in the middle of the park making Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side look much more threatening on the attack.

Fernandes hasn't lost while playing for the club so far after nine games, and he's contributed with three goals and four assists - including his genius free-kick to set-up the opener against Manchester City - and playing a big part in United's upturn in form.

Rashford is yet to play alongside Fernandes as he's been out injured with a back injury since before his arrival, but the striker can still see the impact he's having in the side.

"He's a player that's creative, very forward thinking. Always wants to play forward and create opportunities," Rashford told Bleacher Report in an Instagram Live Q&A.

"Hopefully we can make some good times together. He's got such a positive attitude and the vibe he brings to the team is just positive.

"Even if he loses the ball he works to get back and that definitely rubs off on other players."
