Marcus Rashford carries 'bone fracture healing device' amid injury speculation

Marcus Rashford was pictured carrying a 'bone fracture healing device' prior to Manchester United's game against Norwich City.

The Red Devils striker was pictured with the box on his way into Old Trafford prior to the 4-0 victory over the Canaries.

Rashford scored twice to take his tally to 19 for the season in all competitions - six more than he managed in each of the last two campaigns.

But fans could be concerned he is carrying a knock after the image of him carrying the device emerged.

The box contains a 'Melmak Ultrasound Bone Healing Device' report The Sun.

According to the product's website, it is used for 20 minutes a day to deliver ultrasound to the afflicted area 'in the treatment of delayed or non-union fractures and the acceleration of fresh fracture healing'.

The site explains: "The low intensity ultrasound frequency used in the Melmak device has been shown to heal 86 per cent of non-unions and accelerate the healing of fresh fracture by up to 38 per cent in various multi-centre and randomised trials."

Rashford marked his 200th United appearance with the brace against Norwich, becoming the fourth-youngest player to reach the landmark after Norman Whiteside, Ryan Giggs and George Best.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said after the game: "Fantastic effort by Marcus getting to 200 games so quickly.

"He got through most of the game, he is struggling a little bit so we took him off. He kept his cool. Very pleased with Marcus."
