Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial - Man United injury round-up and return dates ahead of Roma

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has the luxury of a near-fully-fit squad to choose from for the first leg of Manchester United's Europa League semi-final with Roma.

United have been welcoming players back from injury over the last few weeks and there are just two confirmed absentees for the game.

That means Solskjaer will have plenty of options for the game as he bids to end United's recent poor record in semi-final matches.

Here is the latest injury news and return dates.

Marcus Rashford

Rashford will be available to feature against Roma and is past the worst of the foot injury that has troubled him in recent weeks.

The forward played more than 80 minutes in United's last two games and has reduced his training schedule, but he is expected to start on Thursday.

What Solskjaer said: "We've managed Marcus and we've had to manage him quite a while actually. Last year with his back, then he had his shoulder, which he's recovered really well from, and I feel he's gone through the worst of this foot. He almost played a full game against Leeds and he's available for selection for tomorrow. He's happy with the progress he's made."

Expected return date: April 29

Anthony Martial

Martial is likely to be out for the rest of the season after picking up a knee injury on international duty last month.

The forward could well return to fitness in time for the European Championship in the summer but is unlikely to feature for United again this season.

What Solskjaer said: "Anthony has started his recovery and, if we see him before the end of the season, I will be very surprised, but, of course, he is determined to come back as quickly as he can."

Expected return date: N/A

Phil Jones

Jones has not played this season due to his recovery from a knee injury.

He has returned to the training pitch, working on his fitness, but it is unclear if he will feature at all before the end of the season.

What Solskjaer said: "Hopefully this season but if not then the start of next."

Expected return date: N/A
