Marcus Rashford advised to consider move away from Manchester United

Marcus Rashford has been told to leave Manchester United for a new club.

Rashford has scored three goals in 15 appearances this season for United and has been struggling to impress the Old Trafford faithful since returning from injury.

Former Chelsea and Arsenal forward Lianne Sanderson now believes it is the right time for the young striker to move on to pastures new.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Sanderson said: "I think a move away might be good for him (Rashford).

"If he is playing like this for the next two or three seasons, are we going to keep saying that he is going to stay there?

"Maybe he has been through so much at the club, similar to Jesse Lingard, just look at Jesse at West Ham.

"I am not saying that they should loan him out, if I was him I would be thinking about potentially moving away."

When discussing his potential future away from Manchester United, Sanderson added that she did not think 'he would get in many top four teams'.

Rashford's United travel to Aston Villa in the Premier League's late kick off this evening.
