Marcus Peters, Marshawn Lynch bring free carnival to kids in Oakland

Despite being an NFL star, Marcus Peters hasn’t forgotten where he’s from. He’s always giving back to the community in Oakland, which is where he grew up. Whether it’s with football camps or giving coats to local kids, Peters loves helping whenever possible.

This week, he and his cousin Marshawn Lynch threw a free carnival for kids in Oakland. It wasn’t just that admission was free, either. All the rides, food and games were no cost at all for those who came.

Lynch, like Peters, is from Oakland and while he’s not currently on an NFL roster, he’s still giving back to the community.

The two squared off in Week 1 last season when the Raiders hosted the Rams, a great moment for the cousins in their hometown.
