The legendary Tokyo-based retailer, atmos, promoted its recent collaboration with Nike for the new LeBron 16 “Clear Jade” on Instagram Friday.
The caption included a “coming soon” message along with images of the shoe. While the release date has not been set, James was spotted wearing a pair over All-Star weekend. But this week, Boston Celtics forward Marcus Morris was seen wearing the atmos LeBrons during an NBA game.
Earlier this series against the Indiana Pacers, Morris pulled up in the “Clear Jades” before switching colorways on Friday.
For Game 3, Marcus stepped onto the floor rocking the atmos Safari Nike LeBron 16. He helped the Celtics to a 104-96 win on Friday while contributing 11 points, seven rebounds and two assists in 24 minutes of work.
Boston now holds a 3-0 advantage over Indiana in the opening-round series.
This latest Nike LeBron 16 shoe was inspired by the beloved Air Max 1 “Elephant” which debuted in 2007. Hidefumi Hommyo founded atmos in 2000 and his company has become a prominent Japanese street wear and sneaker boutique that is expected to continue collaborations with Nike in the future.
