Marcus Morris has experienced his share of ups and downs of late, though none have been worse than his shooting performance in the Boston Celtics 118-115 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. The forward made 2 of his 9 shots from the field, finishing with four points. Although he had nine rebounds to help make up for the shooting, there were several instances in the second half where he failed with his help defense.
However, that did not exempt him from throwing shade at the Philadelphia 76ers after the loss. Adding on to Terry Rozier’s comments, Morris kept it brief when discussing the Sixers win with Jay King of the Athletic.
Safe to say if these two teams meet up in the postseason, things won’t exactly be cordial.
