Marcus Jordan wants his dad Michael Jordan as his best man when he marries Larsa Pippen

Marcus Jordan wants to keep the family tradition alive by having his dad, Michael Jordan, be his best man at his forthcoming wedding when the time comes.

Marcus became Instagram official with his girlfriend, Larsa Pippen, earlier this year. The relationship announcement caused a frenzy among basketball fans because his partner is the ex-wife of Scottie Pippen — yes, that Scottie Pippen.

Scottie and Michael aren’t exactly best friends, so the news of Michael’s son dating Scottie’s ex-wife was a lot for fans to digest. Adding fuel to the fire is the possibility that Michael potentially disapproves of the relationship, which Marcus refutes.

Nevertheless, Marcus and Larsa recently appeared on the Pablo Torre Finds Out podcast, where they were asked about a possible wedding despite not being engaged.

After saying that a wedding was “in the works,” Marcus was asked if he wanted his dad to give a toast at this wedding:

“I was the best man at his wedding and the best man at my brother’s wedding, so obviously, we’ll keep the tradition going is my thoughts on it.”

The 32-year-old added the Jordan family is very private, so they may have multiple weddings to accommodate the different groups of people they would celebrate with. That likely implies that Marcus’s dad will attend at least one, but that’s currently up in the air.

We’ll keep tabs on this story as it progresses.
