Marco Silva is due to take training as normal this afternoon as the Everton squad return to Finch Farm.
The under-fire Blues boss is preparing for Sunday’s trip to Leicester City but his position as manager remains fragile .
Everton’s hierarchy have been discussing the future of Silva ever since Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at home to Norwich City .
It remains business as usual for the Portuguese coach and though he was told he retains the club’s support following the weekend’s loss, his long-term prospects appear bleak.
The Blues’ players were on a scheduled day off on Monday but are back at the club’s Halewood training facility today as they begin preparing for the game at the King Power Stadium.
And Silva is expected to take training as planned.
