Marco Reus has named Mesut Ozil as the best player he has ever shared a pitch with.
Reus played alongside the Arsenal star for the German national team, but missed out on winning the competition with Ozil back in 2014 after suffering ankle ligament damage ahead of the tournament.
Ozil has since retired from international duty and is struggling for regular first team football at Arsenal under new boss Unai Emery.
But despite the German's career taking a slight dip in recent months, Reus still believes Ozil is the best player he has ever lined up alongside.

"Mesut Ozil," Reus told Copa 90 when asked who is the best player he has ever played with.
"The way he creates goals... he's a player with a really good eye for his team-mates. He has so many assists in the Premier League and with the national team.

"He's just an intelligent player and you can see that right away with a first glance. I always enjoyed playing with him and that's why it's a pity he's taken a step back.
"I hope he'll get back to form and return to playing regularly for Arsenal."
