Marco Reus lays out Rangers battle plan as Dortmund star details key to Ibrox 'cup final' comeback bid

Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus believes they can still turn things around against Rangers - but they'll have to press the life out of them.

Going into the first leg at the Westfalenstadion the Bundesliga giants were favourites to win the Europa League, but they were beaten 4-2 and arguably lucky not to concede more.

There is no away go rule in UEFA competitions from this season, so while Dortmund have a mountain to climb they're still in the tie ahead of the second leg at Ibrox.

They bounced back from that loss by thrashing Borussia Monchengladbach 6-0, and Reus believes that result showed how they can win their "cup final" in Govan.

Speaking to DAZN he said: "We had to show a reaction and we did that.

"I don't like to be praised individually, as a team we played exceptionally well. When we press high, things are always easier.

"What that says about us as a team though is that if things don't start well for us in a game we need to keep calm and let our class show. That will be very important.

"We know we have a cup final on Thursday, there's a big game waiting for us and we'll be ready."

Dortmund hope to have star man Erling Haaland back for the clash, with the Norwegian superstar back in full training.

Rangers will progress if they avoid defeat, or keep any loss to just one goal.
