Marcelo tells Real Madrid 'he wants to LEAVE' - Arsenal among four clubs to make contact

Marcelo has rocked Real Madrid by announcing his intentions to leave, according to shock reports from Spain.

The legendary Los Blancos left-back has represented the Bernabeu club for the past 12 seasons but allegedly sees his future elsewhere.

Marcelo, 31, showed signs of decline last year and isn't convinced he will get the regular first team football he wants under Zinedine Zidane next season.

Real Madrid will have no shortage of suitors for the left back, who has enjoyed a remarkable career in which he has won both the Champions League and La Liga four times.

The clubs at the front of the list to sign him this summer are: Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Juventus and AC Milan.

And according to Spanish publication Sport, each of them have already made contact with Real Madrid to declare their interest.

Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus have both already splashed the cash this summer and would appear favourites to sign Marcelo.

Arsenal are in need of a new left-back and have been strongly linked with a move for Celtic defender Kieran Tierney.

But the Gunners have some major cash-flow problems and will likely be priced out of a deal for Marcelo. What's more, they're unable to offer the Brazilian Champions League football.
