Pablo Hernandez remains part of Marcelo Bielsa’s plans – despite being reduced to a bit-part role at Leeds.
Hernandez, 36, has made only two Premier League starts this season and managed just 349 minutes of top-flight action.
The Spanish playmaker has 14 months left on his contract at Elland Road and Bielsa does not want to move him on this summer.
Bielsa values Hernandez’s experience and the former Swansea star was Leeds’ second-top scorer during last season’s Championship-winning success with nine goals.
Bielsa is also in no hurry to see former Real Madrid goalkeeper Kiko Casilla leave, even though the Spaniard has played just three games this season.

Casilla, 34, who has two years left on his contract, lost the No 1 spot to French Under-21 Illan Meslier last season.
Bielsa values Casilla’s experience, especially because Meslier and Leeds’ third senior goalkeeper, Italian teenager Elia Caprile, are young.

Bielsa has yet to make a decision on the future of Swiss defender Gaetano Berardi, who is out of contract next month.
Berardi, 32, has not played since suffering a serious knee injury last July and Leeds gave him a contract extension for this seasons to allow him to recover with them.
Ezgjan Alioski is set to go and the North Macedonian international has rejected Leeds’ offer of new terms and will leave on a Bosman with Galatasaray keen on him.
Barry Douglas will also exit Leeds on a free next month because he is no longer part of Bielsa’s first-team plans and the Scottish left-back has spent the season on loan at Blackburn.
