Marcelo Bielsa's brother drops clear hint on Leeds United manager's future

Marcelo Bielsa's brother has claimed that the Leeds United boss will extend his stay at Elland Road if the club are promoted to the Premier League.

The Whites need just four points from their final three Championship matches to secure a place in next season's top-flight.

Having fallen just short of automatic promotion last season, Leeds look set to not fall at the same hurdle this time around.

Despite missing out last summer, Bielsa extended his stay in West Yorkshire by an extra year.

His current deal with the club does run out this summer, however.

Given his unpredictability in previous jobs, it's never certain Bielsa will stay at any job, despite Leeds' pending promotion.

However, his brother, Rafael, has hinted that Bielsa will stay and guide the club in the top-flight next season.

Rafael told Argentinian sports channel TyC Sports: “It’s been a long time since I’ve spoken to him, but the question should be, how could you not renew your contract if you go up as champions?

“It’s always better to go to the Premier League with a team where you know all the players.”
