Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has revealed that Eddie Nketiah will not have to wait too much longer for his debut with the Championship side
And this will be of interest to Arsenal fans.
The England U21 international penned a season-long loan deal at Elland Road on Deadline Day, where he will gain valuable first-team experience before returning to north London.
Nketiah was not part of the squad for Saturday's 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest, which came too soon for the forward, but Bielsa has given an insight into his early days at the club.
As part of then, Bielsa also confirmed that Nketiah would make his debut for the Yorkshire giants in Tuesday evening's Carabao Cup clash with Salford City.
"Friday and Saturday he did evaluations, tests. Yesterday [Monday] he did real training, same as today,"he told reporters.
"I don’t know how many minutes, but he will be involved.
"All the minutes that he had in the Arsenal and national teams, we could watch these minutes.
"Then I have an idea about the skills and capabilities of the player.
"In these two days when we’re working with him, it's very easy to show in training what he’s showing in the games.
"He’s a complex player because he has a lot of capabilities."
Nketiah's Leeds United debut will be shown live on Sky Sports, with the second round draw of the Carabao Cup taking place after the clash at the Peninsula Stadium concludes.
