Marcelo Bielsa reveals shock potential triple injury blow for Brentford clash

Leeds United could be without a trio of key faces for their Championship encounter with Brentford on Wednesday after Marcelo Bielsa revealed that their fitness remains up in the air.

Captain Liam Cooper, Ezgjan Alioski and Barry Douglas are all doubts for the visit of the Bees this week as the Whites look to keep their unbeaten Championship record intact.

United have been only without long-term absentees Luke Ayling and Tyler Roberts this season so far, but speaking in his pre-match press conference, Bielsa revealed that the three additional faces may not feature at Elland Road, though he did not rule them out either.

"We are not sure that Cooper, Alioski and Douglas can play the game but nor can we say that they cannot," the Argentine stated.

Cooper and Douglas have been regular starters in the Championship this season while Alioski has made two appearances off the bench against Bristol City and Nottingham Forest, as well as starting against Salford City in the Carabao Cup.
