Marcelo Bielsa was pictured in Leeds United’s new Adidas training kit yesterday, sparking yet more relief about his future in West Yorkshire.
The head coach has been in talks with Andrea Radrizzani, Angus Kinnear and Victor Orta for weeks about his future at Elland Road, his requests and the club’s direction.
At no stage has there been any concern around whether the Argentine would continue, but the actual paperwork always seems to be at the bottom of the agenda.
In the absence of an official announcement, fans will always speculate and worry about Bielsa’s future.
However, after several players have spoken glowingly about working with him into 2020/21, there were fresh pictures on Thursday of Bielsa wearing the club’s new Adidas range.
On the day the squad returned to Thorp Arch to start pre-season in their new gear, the coaching staff also got their hands on the three stripes.
While Bielsa was not spotted in the club’s official training video, he was sighted, as ever, walking in the local area on the same day.
