Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has given some information on the changes he will make to his team ahead of the FA cup clash against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
The Whites visit Arsenal sitting at the top of the Championship as they aim to win promotion back to the Premier League at the end of the season.
It is expected that both teams will make changes for the match, with the concentration being put on the upcoming league fixtures.
And, speaking in his pre-match press conference, Bielsa revealed that there will be at least four changes in the team that he names for the match against Arsenal, with one of the change being in between the sticks.
"[Illan] Meslier is going to play instead of [Kiko] Casilla," he said as reported by LeedsLive .
"[Gaetano] Berardi for [Liam] Cooper. [Barry] Douglas for [Ezgjan] Alioski. Alioski for [Hélder] Costa," he added.
"[Robbie] Gotts in place of [Stuart] Dallas.
"Four players leaving the team, Kiko, Cooper, Dallas and Helder.
"Meslier, Douglas, Gotts and Berardi in the starting 11."
That means that debuts are handed to Gotts and Meslier, and the Leeds boss has no qualms about giving them their chance against the Gunners.
"Gotts is a player that deserves to play," he said.
"Meslier has qualities that allow him to rake responsibility in a massive match like this. Meslier is a keeper that has experience in one thing and Gotts is in his best moment in all our processes.
"And the most important is that he has worked a lot to have this opportunity. But it’s just one first step in the beginning of his career.
"Both of them, they don’t have to prove anything to us. If they play well, better, and if they don’t play well, it’s not going to change anything about the step forward they are giving."
