Leeds United’s best youngsters will be offered the chance to leave the club this transfer window.
Head coach Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed, for the first time, those players unlikely to have any chance in the first team will be offered chances to go out on loan.
The Whites boss was asked if he was expecting any loan moves away for the club’s younger players after Wednesday’s Carabao Cup exit.
“All the players who won’t have a chance in the first team, we will try to give an option for them to out on loan,” said Bielsa.
Leif Davis, Jordan Stevens, Bryce Hosannah, Robbie Gotts and Alfie McCalmont are all into their 20s now without any real possibility of first-team football barring an injury crisis.
Swindon Town boss Richie Wellens has already spoken publicly about an agreement for Stevens to head south to the League One club.

Elsewhere, McCalmont has previously been informed of interest from UD Ibiza, a Spanish third-tier outfit, but that was several weeks ago.
Huddersfield Town links with Gotts have persisted in light of Carlos Corberan’s role there, but the diminutive talent will want assurances on game time wherever he goes.
Fulham visit Elland Road on Saturday, almost three months after they last played there in a Championship fixture.
While United ran out 3-0 winners, that scoreline did not tell the story of a first-half which was hugely uncomfortable for Bielsa and his side, as Fulham dominated.
Asked whether Fulham would prove to be even stronger on Saturday than they were in June, Bielsa was non-commital.
“I don’t know right now,” he said. “The season is very atypical and the adaptation of the new players is surely going to take a while, which is the same for everybody.
“As a result I don’t know whether it’s going to be the same Fulham from last season or whether any of the new players will play on Saturday.”
Of the team which started at Elland Road in June, seven also started last weekend’s Premier League opener with Arsenal.
