Marcelo Bielsa makes two changes for Sheffield Wednesday clash as duo return to the bench

Marcelo Bielsa has made two changes to the Leeds United side that drew at West Bromwich Albion in the Championship last time out for this afternoon's Yorkshire derby against Sheffield Wednesday.

Barry Douglas and Patrick Bamford replace Gjanni Alioski and the since-departed Eddie Nketiah from the side that claimed a point at The Hawthorns, while there is a return to the matchday squad for Jamie Shackleton and Pablo Hernandez as they step up their injury comebacks.

That means Kiko Casilla returns in goal after Illan Meslier was handed his first-team debut at the Emirates, with a back four of Ayling, Ben White, Liam Cooper and Douglas.

Kalvin Phillips continues in midfield, with Stuart Dallas and Mateusz Klich also set to play centrally. Jack Harrison and Helder Costa are again on the flanks and leading scorer Bamford is back to lead the line.

Shackleton and Hernandez are joined on the bench by Gjanni Alioski who drops out of the starting XI, with the bench rounded out by Meslier, Oliver Casey, Gaetano Berardi and Jordan Stevens.

Leeds go into the weekend as Championship leaders, ahead of West Bromwich Albion on goal difference and a nine point gap over third-placed Brentford who are in action against QPR in the day's early kick-off.

Leeds United: Casilla, Ayling, White, Cooper, Douglas, Phillips, Klich, Dallas, Harrison, Costa, Bamford

Subs: Meslier, Casey, Alioski, Berardi, Shackleton, Stevens, Hernandez
