'Prove us wrong' Leeds United fans react to Marcelo Bielsa's starting XI for Bristol City clash

Marcelo Bielsa has kept the faith with the same Leeds United starting XI that drew at Brentford for this afternoon's clash against Bristol City - with fans urging under-fire goalkeeper Kiko Casilla to prove the naysayers wrong.

Bielsa confirmed during his press conference on Thursday that Casilla and Patrick Bamford would keep their places in his side and he is true to his word, with the misfiring duo again both starting.

That means the defence of Luke Ayling, Ben White, Liam Cooper and Gjanni Alioski remain together.

Kalvin Phillips continues in front of the back-four with Mateusz Klich and Pablo Hernandez also playing centrally. Jack Harrison and Helder Costa are again on the flanks with Bamford leading the line.

City do tend to play with two up front, so Leeds may switch to a 3-3-1-3 formation when out of possession.

There is a return to the bench for Tyler Roberts, who missed the draw at Griffin Park with a knock and replaces Jordan Stevens in the only change to the matchday squad.

Jean-Kevin Augustin also among the substitutes, but his fellow January signing Ian Poveda misses out - something that supporters have queried on social media.

Here's how they line up:

Leeds United: Casilla, Ayling, White, Cooper, Dallas, Phillips, Klich, Harrison, Costa, Hernandez, Bamford

Subs: Meslier, Douglas, Alioski, Berardi, Shackleton, Roberts, Augustin

Here's how fans have reacted to today's team news:

A win today should ensure that Leeds remain in the top two, but if Lee Johnson's side come away win they will draw level on points with the Whites.
