Marcelo Bielsa is hopeful that Liam Cooper will be fit to play against Fulham on Saturday following his recent calf injury.
The Leeds United skipper missed last weekend's 4-3 defeat against Liverpool after returning from international duty with Scotland and failed a late fitness test ahead of the Anfield clash.
But speaking ahead of this weekend's Elland Road clash against the Cottagers, Bielsa is optimistic that Cooper will be able to return.
"We think Cooper will be ready to play the game on Saturday," he said, before adding that the club had no fresh injury concerns.
"There's no new injuries from the last few days."
Bielsa added that Adam Forshaw is continuing his recover from hip surgery.
"Forshaw is taking part in collective training today apart from actually playing football. Next week his rehabilitation will continue."
Cooper was absent from Leeds' Premier League opener at Anfield last weekend and watched from the sidelines as Mohamed Salah helped himself to a hat-trick in the Premier League champion's 4-3 win over Bielsa's side.
Pascal Struijk and Robin Koch was Leeds' untested centre-back pairing for the match, with Struijk making just his third senior start and new signing Koch turning out just days after arriving at the club following the international break.
Leeds host the Cottagers at 3pm on Saturday in what will be the first Premier League match played at Elland Road for 16 years.
