'Marcelo Bielsa is another level' - Bristol City fans react to 3-1 defeat by Leeds United

It was a sobering start to the 2019/20 season for Bristol City as, for large parts, they were outclassed by a superior Leeds United side who showed why they are considered favourites for the Championship title.

Andi Weimann's consolation goal gave the Robins some late hope but the damage had already been done as a three-goal deficit left them with too much of a mountain to climb.

While it was only the first game of the season, the result and in particular the manner of the defeat caused fans on social media to vent their concern over a worrying lack of offensive punch.

It was a 90 minutes all too reminiscent of last season with the desire for a striker growing, plus plenty of praise for Leeds who looked they have further improved under Marcelo Bielsa.

The visitors press once again sucked the life out of City's passing game while they were ruthless in attack through Pablo Hernandez and assured at the back.
