Marcelo Bielsa is about to prove his loyalty to Leeds United by setting new record this season

Leeds United have been a breath of fresh air to the Premier League.

Marcelo Bielsa's side have taken to the top-flight by storm, earning plenty of plaudits along the way.

Having matched Liverpool stride for stride on the opening weekend of the season, Leeds then took a point from Manchester City, with two victories sandwiched in between.

Whilst it took it's time to be officially announced, there was little panic that the man behind Leeds meteoric rise, Bielsa, wouldn't lead them into the 2020/21 season.

Having been convinced to finish his job of leading the club back to the Premier League, having missed out on promotion in his debut season, Bielsa was unlikely to quit without a crack in the Premier League.

The Argentine, though, has proven he's not a man afraid to move on and doesn't stick around unnecessarily.

That's proven by the fact after just over two years at Elland Road, Bielsa needs to take charge of eight more games for Leeds to be the longest he's held a single job.

By our reckoning, that means if Bielsa remains in the dugout by December 12, against West Ham United, the Whites will be the club he has served the longest in his career, for club or country.

Whilst the one-year deals will always cause slight concern amongst the fan base, it's clear that, at least for now, Bielsa is as settled as he has ever been.
