Here is your Leeds United morning digest on Monday, December 21.
Bielsa explains double sub at half-time
In yesterday's 6-2 defeat to Manchester United, Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa made a double substitution with Kalvin Phillips and Mateusz Klich being replaced by Pascal Struijk and Jamie Shackleton.
Now, Bielsa has explained the two changes, saying that something needed to be done after conceding four in the opening 45 minutes.
The Whites manager said: "We were losing the game by a big margin and I thought that with a more defensive midfield we would have the opportunity to get back closer to them in the score.
"It improved the recovery of the ball in midfield as we were able to continue to attack well."

Another defensive blow
Leeds suffered yet another defensive blow as captain Liam Cooper limped off the pitch at Old Trafford on Sunday evening.
Diego Llorente and Robin Koch - who both play the same position as Cooper - are still sidelined, with their return dates still unknown.
The Whites skipper had been struggling with a knock in the second-half, receiving treatment before going down to the floor for good and having to leave the game.
Bielsa could only choose Leif Davis, which displays the very little options the Argentine coach now has at his disposal.

Neville loves Leeds' style
Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has heaped praise on Leeds' style despite the heavy defeat to his former club Manchester United.
The Whites have been entertaining so far since their long-awaited return to the Premier League, despite sometimes leaving themselves open in defence - something Neville has been speaking about.
“These (Leeds) are a daft bunch, you know. You watch them and you think, what’s going on? It’s brilliant, it’s absolutely brilliant. Oh, I wish there were 75,000 in here," the former Man United right-back told Sky Sports.
"Leeds just think they can take on everyone 1-on-1. We used to do that in training, but more for fitness not actually style of play. I love it. They are all brave on the ball. They all make angles and never shake responsibility. That's why I like them, they are a courageous team."
The Whites stayed in 14th-place following the defeat in Manchester, with Burnley coming to Elland Road in six days' time.
