The 2019/2020 Championship play-offs have concluded and Leeds United will be joined in the Premier League by Fulham next season.
For the Whites, the dream of returning to the top flight of English football for the first time since 2004 became a reality with a few games to play and celebrated the added bonus of being crowned champions.
Marcelo Bielsa will be hoping that his side can compete with the likes of both Manchester clubs, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and reigning Premier League champions Liverpool.
Although, there's still a long while before fans can see the Whites in action again.
With the countdown to the 2020/21 campaign underway, our Leeds United writer Beren Cross gave his thoughts on some of the big talking points at Elland Road right now during a Q&A with fans on Wednesday where he was asked questions on topics about summer transfer targets.
Here is what he had to say about what is going on behind the scenes in west Yorkshire.
How long before Bielsa signs?
Beren Cross says: "Talks are ongoing. It's a good point, though. Any incoming players will want assurances on what Bielsa is doing. There is no sense of panic about what is going on with Bielsa in these talks.
"It's a calm and methodical process which everyone has faith in.
"The season starts in 39 days, so they can't wait a lot longer before he signs.
Do we know whether talks have actually started with Brighton over White?
Beren Cross says: "Talks have been going on behind the scenes with Brighton all season. That's only natural for them to check in on how their player is doing.
"Frank talks will have been had already on Leeds' interest, but while decision-makers and players are on holiday it slows things down. The ball is in White and Brighton's courts right now.
"You feel the player needs to force it if he wants out.
Do we have any idea what, if any, investment from 49ers might be?
Beren Cross says: "49ers Enterprises want to gradually increase their stake.
"I would not anticipate a major infux of money totalling tens of millions, but it's clear they're not going away and if Radrizzani giving away any more of his control, they are at the front of the queue."
When Gelhardt and Allen will be confirmed by the club?
Beren Cross says: "Gelhardt still has some way to go, but Allen is done and could be confirmed at any stage.
"Believe Linfield jumped the gun the other day and announced it before deleting their tweet."
Is Watkins someone we'd be looking to go for?
Beren Cross says: "I don't know for certain what the situation is with Watkins's transfer clause, but many reputable outlets are reporting that is the case.
"If true, it's a snip for a player of his calibre in the current market. The trouble with good value is many clubs see the same thing and there will be a lot of attention on Watkins, especially after last night.
"Leeds like him and I'd be amazed if they don't bid."
