Marcelo Bielsa confirms his Leeds United line-up to face Manchester City

Marcelo Bielsa has made one change to his Leeds United starting XI for this afternoon's mouthwatering clash against Manchester City.

Leeds are in action at the Etihad Stadium in today's early Premier League kick-off looking to upset Pep Guardiola's league leaders, who are sitting 14 points clear of the chasing pack.

With Jack Harrison ineligible to face his parent club, Helder Costa is drafted into the line-up to replace him in the only change to the side that beat Sheffield United 2-1 last weekend.

That means Illan Meslier continues in goal, with a back-four of Luke Ayling, Diego Llorente, Liam Cooper and Gjanni Alioski.

Kalvin Phillips will continue in his usual role, with Stuart Dallas and Tyler Roberts ahead of him.

Raphinha and Costa will provide the width, with leading scorer Patrick Bamford continuing to lead the line for Bielsa.

There is room on the bench for 18-year-old Joe Gelhardt, but record signing Rodrigo is missing from the matchday squad.

City boss Pep Guardiola has made seven changes to the side that beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

Leeds, who are unbeaten in their last three matches, begin the weekend 11th in the Premier League table and a win would see them move up to ninth place ahead of the rest of the weekend's fixtures.

Leeds United: Meslier, Alioski, Cooper, Llorente, Ayling, Phillips, Dallas, Raphoinha, Roberts, Costa, Bamford

Subs: Casilla, Koch, Berardi, Struijk, Shackleton, Klich, Hernandez, Poveda, Gelhardt

Manchester City: Ederson, Cancelo, Stones, Ake, Mendy, Fernandinho, Zinchenko, Bernardo, Torres, Sterling, Jesus

Subs: Steffen, Walker, Dias, Gundogan, Rodrigo, De Bruyne, Mahrez, Foden, Garcia
