Here is your Leeds United morning digest for Wednesday, July 8.
Bielsa breaks Augustin silence
Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has broken his silence on Jean-Kevin Augustin's failed loan stint at Elland Road after he returned to RB Leipzig.
The Whites chose not to extend his loan agreement until the end of the extended season, instead sending him back to the Bundesliga side, and Bielsa has commented on that decision.
"Bielsa said they weighed up the Augustin situation once his loan had ended and felt it was more convenient to send him back to Leipzig than keep him here," was the summary of his comments.

Injury boost for Leeds
Leeds have received an injury boost ahead of the midweek clash with Stoke City, with Stuart Dallas and Helder Costa both in contention to feature.
The duo missed Saturday's 3-1 win over Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park through injury issues, with Dallas forced off during last week's 1-1 draw with Luton Town and Costa picking up a complaint in the days after the match against the Hatters.
However, the duo are in contention to make their returns against the relegation-threatened Potters on Thursday evening.
"Probably Dallas and Costa play," said Bielsa. "Today [Tuesday] they trained normally."
Whelan raves about Edouard
Former Leeds man Noel Whelan has raved about Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard following links with the French striker and the Whites.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Elland Road if promotion is secured and Whelan would love to see the transfer go ahead.
“That would be an amazing signing and I am glad they are looking at that quality of player,” he told Football Insider.
“I talked about Arsenal and other teams needing to buy this player but I have always said that I hope we would be buying. Now when you hear these rumours – it makes me so happy."
