Marcelo Bielsa has once again been nominated for the Championship’s Manager of the Month prize, this time for his 11 points from 18 in December.
The Whites won three of their six matches last month, losing just one in their trip to Fulham four days before Christmas.
December also witnessed that memorable nine-goal thriller at Birmingham City too, of course.
The judges, former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL pundit Don Goodman, EFL communications director Mark Rowan, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies, said: “Management is easy when things are running smoothly.
“The mark of Bielsa’s impact came at Birmingham where Leeds had to take the lead four times to end a run of three winless games and make it 11 points from six matches.”
Jonathan Woodgate, Gary Rowett and Mark Bowen are also nominated after also delivering just one defeat apiece in December.
The winner will be announced on January 10.
