I've just come back from a tennis tournament in Nottingham with a case full of dirty clothes, so I'm going to put on a full wash.
I also made sure the TV wasn't left on standby while I was away. I found myself talking about the EcoManager during the competition. Everyone was amazed when I told them how much things cost, and they were all asking me how much particular things are to run. I'm going have to test a few things out for them. There's still a lot of appliances I haven't tried myself.
My sister's just cooked us a shepherd's pie for dinner and it's made me wonder how much that has cost. I think I'm going to plug the EcoManager into the oven next week, and the kettle, and the toaster. I suppose at some point I should find out how much the dishwasher and fridge and freezer are costing me.
I've got to confess to having two freezers, we've got one in the kitchen and then another one in the utility room. I'm going to look at what I've got in there, and then maybe just make the decision to buy less rather than keep two running. I've never really thought about it before, but this is making me see everything differently.
My next plan is to start using EcoManager to switch my appliances off from one location.
